It’s easy!
We made connecting your Quriobot to Slack super easy! Just follow these steps:
Setup your bot (I started with the Contact template with first and last name split up) Create variable on those variables you want to send to MailChimp (in this case just firstName, lastName, and email, but you can always add morevariables): In Slack, you need to set up your incoming Webhook (you need the proper permission in Slack to be able to do this) Via Administration > Manage Apps > Custom integrations > Incoming Webhooks > Add configuration Create or select a Channel the messages will be sent to Copy the Webhook URL to use in the Quriobot Control Room: Copy and paste the Webhook URL and Channel name to the Quriobot Control Room and configure the message to be displayed in Slack: And see your Quriobot results coming into Slack!

Connect Quriobot to Zapier

Do you want to connect Quriobot to that awesome service of Zapier? We support that!!
Please note that we also have a video tutorial which you can see here!
It’s a combination of Creating an easy webhook Zap and using the created Webhook URL in the Quriobot Control Room (read at the bottom on how to pass data to your Zap!)
Step 1 is setting up this Connection in Zapier. Open your Zapier account and Let’s make a Zap by clicking the Make a Zap button!

Connect to Integromat (Zapier alternative)

Connecting to Zapier is described on this page, but there are, of course, many alternatives to Zapier. Some are even cheaper like Integromat(still free up to 1.000 connections per month)! The best thing is? it’s very easy to connect to them.
Just create your bot with the needed variables and in Integromat create a new scenario with a webhook connection plus you’re required to follow up connection (like Google sheets for example) and the only thing left is to copy-paste the webhook URL in Quriobot and off you go!

How to use bot Variables

Using Variables throughout your bot is something an advanced bot can’t do without! On the Bot Settings > Variables sectionyou can add them, name them and connect to a step in your bot or even a custom JavaScript function! Easy as that!
Please note that the Variables are case-sensitive and thus need to be written exactly the same!
Choosing the right Variable type Name your variable and then select the desired variable type and set its settings: Step variable type: Gets the value from the answer of the chosen step: String variable type: Gets the value from the entered static string (for example for storing often used phrases like addresses or company names) Script variable type: Gets the value from the provided javascript function, which can optionally access other variables allowing greater flexibility.

Response connections: Sending Quriobot's response data to another endpoint (via webhook)

With the Response connections of Quriobot, you can choose what to do as a follow-up when the chat has finished. This can be configured manually or you can use one of our Response connection templates.
Note: To make the most out of your Response connections please configure some Variables to represent the data from your bot.
Video tutorial: we have video tutorials explaining how to use these here! ( they might still use the old interface, but all should be easy to find in the new interface)
